The EUR LIVE offers a transdisciplinary training in research from Master to Ph.D. to study the different facets of vulnerability in health, biology, epidemiology, economics, and environmental sciences.

🧐 What is vulnerability and how to address the societal challenges faced by human populations affected by the various aspects of frailty caused by physical, emotional, social, economic or environmental factors? On May 30th at the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II (UniNa) / University of Naples Federico II, Aurora universities will be holding a Workshop on Vulnerability to delve into the following critical topics: 🩺 Global health and vulnerability 🌎 Environmental risk factors 📈 Health trajectories 🧠 Pedagogy of vulnerability, zooming in on mental health and teaching, diversity, equality and inclusion (DEI), as well as unconscious bias. This event will gather researchers, scholars, students and practitioners from all Aurora universities currently working on vulnerability, and are curious about the pedagogy behind this topic, including its relevance to diversity teaching and the humanising of higher education. The Workshop on Vulnerability is conceived under the "Health & Well-being" hub of the Aurora 2030 programme within the framework of the European Universities Initiative by the European Commission. It also responds to the call by the United Nations to develop a comprehensive understanding of vulnerability, as encompassed within the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
