I began my academics studies at the University Paris Cité with a bachelor’s degree in earth, environmental and planetary sciences, and in my third years I specialized in the environment. I decided to continue with a master’s degree focusing on the environment, in order to deepen my scientific and theoretical understanding of environmental processes, but also to learn about their societal impacts. I completed the two-year master's degree: “risk and environment, environmental science and engineering” at the Université Paris Est Créteil, and for the second year I chose to specialize in atmospheric sciences. During this second year I received the EUR-Live master scholarship and got the opportunity to do my internship in the LISA laboratory (Laboratoire Interuniversitaire des Système Atmosphériques), on the numerical modeling of air quality scenarios. I am currently continuing this project as part of a thesis funded by the EUR LIVE thesis grant.
Research project:
The aim of this thesis is to propose an innovative analysis of air quality, population exposure risk and the distribution of estimated socio-environmental costs and benefits for different future urban scenarios modeled on the Ile-de-France region. The tool used will be the modeling platform developed at LISA. It will be implemented in current and prospective situations of interest ("scenarios") in the Ile-de-France region. In this region, the population suffers from serious health problems due to air pollution and has to deal with major environmental inequality issues (Host et al., 2022).
