The EUR LIVE Graduate School aims to combine know-how from multiple disciplines to approach vulnerability in its broadest expression. The research program offers an innovative and transdisciplinary training from Master to Doctorate to students enrolled in associated programs in health, biology, epidemiology, economics, earth and life sciences.
This multidisciplinary research training counts on experienced teacher-researchers involved in the research laboratories associated with EUR LIVE -> Programs and unit research associated
At the master level, the EUR LIVE teachings are offered in hybrid as follows:
● In remote mode : 60 hours in a Moodle platform. 14 SERIES to choose from, presenting different vulnerability issues.
● In Face-to-face mode: 64 hours in summer schools and research seminars
At the doctoral level, students are encouraged to develop cutting edge research within the Doctoral Schools associated with EUR LIVE. Students actively participate in summer schools, and research seminars. Also, they can benefit from exchanges in partner laboratories of the program and other academic events in France and abroad.
The program encourages student mobility in our partner universities. EUR LIVE relies on strong international networks (such as AURORA Network), for the recruitment of international students and internship opportunities abroad. The master’s internship must take place at one of the UPEC’s laboratories, affiliated with EUR LIVE. The applications for annual doctoral grants are submitted for validation by a special jury.
In addition to international partnerships, the Graduate School works in partnership with French universities (Grenoble Alpes University, several universities in Paris), AP-HP, national health agencies such as ANSES, Santé Publique France, the CNAM, the French Blood Establishment, foundations such as the Fondation de l'Avenir. EUR LIVE has joined the network of University Research Schools – EUR – in France.
The training responds to the needs of the transdisciplinary approach to vulnerability by combining the knowledge of three pillars: Health & Biology, Health Economics & Public Health, Health & Environment.
« It is essential to support initiatives of excellence faced with the increase in multi-scale and multi-factorial vulnerabilities, particularly within the COVID-19 pandemic. EUR LIVE offers promising projects based on a broad vision of vulnerabilities »
