Professor of Bioinformatics at the University of Paris-Est Créteil, and head of the bioinformatics platform of the Mondor Institute of BioMedical Research.
Denis Mestivier has a multi-disciplinary background (master's degree in molecular genetics and PhD in Biomathematics). He develops and adapts methods (modeling/bioinformatics/data analysis) to biology and health problems using large data sets in collaboration with experimental teams. He has been involved in the development of biology-computing teaching since 1990/2000, with a focus on health issues since his appointment to the Faculty of Health.
