Lina Penagos is a researcher specialized in underground economy, peacebuilding and security outlooks. She holds a Ph.D. in political science from Gustave Eiffel University (France) and is affiliated with the French research unit ‘LIPHA’ (University of Paris Est Creteil - UPEC).
Former research collaborator for JICA Ogata Sadako Research Institute for Peace and Development, she has conducted fieldwork in Colombia, Venezuela, Turkey, and Greece.
Lina Penagos has lectured at universities in Colombia, Japan and France and is currently the Executive Director of the Graduate School ‘EUR LIVE: Life trajectories and health vulnerability’ (UPEC).
