Lina Penagos

Lina Penagos

Political scientist specialising in geopolitical risk, peacebuilding, and development. Faculty member at AEI International School (UPEC), she holds a PhD in Political Science from Gustave Eiffel University (France) and a master’s in economics from Saint Thomas University (Colombia). She is affiliated with the French research unit LIPHA (Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire d’Études du Politique Hannah Arendt). 

Within the Aurora European University Alliance, she serves as co-lead of the Hub Health and Wellbeing, fostering interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary academic collaboration on life-course vulnerability.  

Formerly Executive Director of the Graduate School EUR LIVE: Life Trajectories and Health Vulnerability (UPEC), Lina Penagos has also collaborated with the JICA Ogata Sadako Research Institute for Peace and Development (Tokyo).
