Thomas Barnay

Professor of Economics at UPEC (on leave), Thomas Barnay is currently Visiting Professor at Northeastern University in Boston (USA). In 2021-2022, he was Visiting Professor at Harvard University and French laureate of the Harkness Fellowship. 

At UPEC, he is co-director of the Health Economics and Public Health pillar of EUR LIVE. Head of ÉRUDITE from 2018 to 2021, he is also Founder and former Director of the Ms in Health Economics. He is also Vice-President of the French Health Economics Association and former Scientific Advisor to the French Ministry of Health (2012-2015). 

His research interests include the links between health status and working conditions, access to care, the economics of retirement and aging, and COVID-19 issues.
